Welcome to Horizons Holiday Apartments, a relaxed, affordable escape in the heart of Burleigh Heads. Our spacious, self-contained apartments are designed for comfort and convenience, making them perfect for families, couples or anyone looking to enjoy the Gold Coast at their own pace.

FAQs

Booking & Arrival Logistics

  • Check-in is available between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, and check-out is strictly by 9:30 AM.
    Late check-outs may be available upon request and are subject to availability and an additional fee.

  • If you’ll be arriving after hours, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We’ll provide secure key collection details and your unique access codes for a smooth arrival.

  • Yes. A credit card pre-authorisation is required on check-in.
    If you don’t have a valid credit card, a $500 cash bond will be required instead. Bonds are released promptly following a satisfactory inspection of your apartment on departure.

  • Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival receive a full refund of the deposit (less a small cancellation fee).
    Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Apartments & Amenities

  • Each apartment is fully self-contained, featuring a complete kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher) and a private laundry (washing machine and dryer) for your convenience.

  • Yes, all bed linen and bath towels are supplied. Pool towels can be hired from Reception for a small fee.

  • Air conditioning is provided in the living areas of all Signature and Standard apartments.
    Economy apartments include ceiling or pedestal fans instead. Please check individual apartment details when booking.

  • For stays of 10 nights or longer, a linen change is provided. Shorter stays may request a mid-stay service for an additional fee.

  • Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all apartments.

Resort Facilities & Services

  • All resort facilities are open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

  • Yes, the outdoor pool and spa are heated, ensuring year-round comfort.

  • Yes, each apartment includes free secure undercover parking for one vehicle.
    Please note: height restrictions apply (1.9 metres). Additional vehicles will need to find street parking.

  • Yes, bodyboards, beach toys, high chairs, and cots are available for hire from Reception.

  • Absolutely. Our Tour Desk can assist with theme park tickets, local tours, and airport transfers — often at discounted rates and with no booking fees.

Local Area & Activities

  • We’re located just 50 metres from patrolled Burleigh Heads Beach, accessible via our private walkway to the Esplanade.

  • The vibrant James Street precinct, known for its cafés, boutiques, and relaxed dining, is a picturesque 15 minute stroll along the beach.
    A range of cafés, restaurants, McDonald’s, and 7-Eleven are within a 5-minute walk, while Coles, Aldi, and Dan Murphy’s are just 10 minutes away on foot.

  • Yes, bus stops offering services to Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, and Coolangatta are conveniently located around the corner on the Gold Coast Highway.

  • Movie World, Sea World, Dreamworld, and Wet’n’Wild are approximately a 30–40 minute drive north, depending on traffic. Shuttle transfers can be arranged through our Tour Desk.

  • We’re located about a 20-minute drive north of Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta).

  • Unfortunately, pets and other animals are not permitted anywhere on the property or in holiday apartments.
